After 30 years in banking, G Allan Little resigned from his post to concentrate on his special interests, photography and writing, becoming a successful freelance photographer and photo-journalist. His work appeared in the 'Fife Herald', 'Scottish Field' and 'Scotland's Magazine'. A selection of his prints, taken from the 1960s to the1980s, was gifted to the University by his widow. They include images of East and North East Scotland: Fife, Tayside, Aberdeenshire and Moray and demonstrate Little's special interest in historic architecture, highlighting Edzell Castle, Culross, Dysart, Pluscarden Abbey, Kirkcudbright, St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife including Crail, Anstruther, Elie and Earlsferry.
