- About 18.000 colour slides and a small number of prints, 1950s-1980s. The slides were mostly taken by Mrs Sykes, but the collection also includes some commercial slides. They comprise images of Scottish and international topography and folk culture, including architecture, gardens and churches. In addition to Scotland, countries covered are: Austria, Canada, Czechoslovakia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta and Switzerland.
