Lloyd Hayward worked in South America in the early 20th century, in the oil industry. His collection includes prints of oil industry activities in its early days in Peru and Ecuador, as well as images of local landscapes and indigenous people.
Also includes a set of mounted prints depicting mountains, local architecture and local people from the Andes. The photographs appear in the book Andean Paradise by Andre Roosevelt, published in 1939.
