Descriptive titles

Acer pseudoplatanus with injured stem, plantation near exit from Puck's Glen, Benmore Estate, Cowal.

Description

Tall slender tree with trunk bark spilt by long break running from top to base, trees beside a, open field and woods beyond. Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore) - at upper end of the wound roots are being developed which are proceeding to descend over the rotting timber exposed by the wound to the ground. The bark at edge of tear grown over smooth and rounded.
