Description

Street view with water fountain. Text: Innsbruck, the capital of the Austrian province of Tyrol, is situated at a height of 1,800 feet on the River Inn. It is surrounded by lofty mountains, which seem literally to overwhelm the town. It is a place rich in historical associations, and there is a striking contrast between the old buildings and narrow arcaded streets, and the regular blocks and open spaces of the more modern part of the town.'
