Full face portrait of a woman dressed in outdoor clothes and a hat standing before a rock pile and a painted backdrop; pebbles. he woman wears a small velvet hat trimmed with feathers and wide ribbons; her dark jacket has velvet lapels and cuffs; the skirt is drawn into a bustle at the back and has two layers, the top layer is trimmed with a dark fringe and the under layer sweeps the ground and has three broad bands. Image mounted on page engraved with sprigs of ivy.
