H M Brown Collection Prints - Scottish photography series
Scope and Content: The (mainly) black and white photography series contains photographs taken by Hamish Macmillan Brown of the Scottish landscape in the 1970s onward. The series includes photographs of landscapes, seascapes, mountains, wildlife, livestock, and moutaineering architecture and informal portraits. Access & Use: Photographic prints can be accessed in person and all negatives are accessible as digital copies only. Finding Aids: Ordinance survey maps of the regions the photographer documented were annotated by the photographer in order to specify the specific locations under which images have been classified. Further paper documentation, maps and lists created by the photographer are held within the Hamish Brown artist file.
