Two boxes of lantern slides containing images of travels to Asia (India and Japan). Over time the slides have been mixed with and across the boxes so that they do not match with the place and country names written on the sides. Many scenes of military men and mounted soldiers on parade plus groups of Indian soldiers at a fort in the hill country of India. There are also a small number of images taken in Japan showing, towns, temples, people and the countryside. There are also a few images of farm animals and pictures of family members, likely to have been taken in Montrave, Scotland.
