This series of glass negatives were mainly taken during the 1900s and 1920s. This camera replaced the camera used in the Q series and was used predominately for photgraphing the bird life of Scotland. It's smaller size making it more pracitcal camera when climbing the cliffs and working in woodlands. Increasingly there are images of the landscape in which the birds lived. The camera was used from 1905 to 1951 with the majority of images (ca.720) taken in the 1900s, after a hiatus of nearly a decade Adam started using the camera again and a secnd group of images (ca.200) in the 1920s with a few (ca.50) taken in the late 1940s, are the Second World War.
