Photographs of The Ryder Cup, a biennial golf tournament between teams from Europe and the United States. The competition venues alternate between the United States and Europe so that neither team has an unfair 'home course' advantage. Though the matches were envisioned as a friendly competition to bring international players together, it has become a hotly contested event for both sides of the Atlantic. The players receive no prize money and play for pride and 'bragging rights'.

The series of photographs range from 1981 through to 1993 and contains images of both the European teams and the United States teams along with scenics of the courses, functions, caddies, officials, and supporters for both teams.
