Description

The A W Hill Scottish Pictorialist portrait and figure studies series contains idealised representations of people in the style of the Pictorialist movement of the early 20th century. The photographs are printed using the bromoil transfer process and each work is titled and signed by the artist. The subjects represented include views of women, children, and men, in Scottish often rural settings.
